Nieuwe generatie snellaadstations onthuld door Fastned
Fastned heeft een nieuwe generatie snellaadstations onthuld. Bij de nieuwe stations kan geladen worden tot 350 kW, dat wel 100 keer sneller is dan thuis. Het nieuwe ontwerp bestaat uit modules, waardoor het makkelijk is de nieuwe station uit te breiden. Het eerste 350 kW-station bevindt zich op verzorgingsplaats De Watering aan de A8, vlakbij Amsterdam.
Fastned is een samenwerking met ABB aangegaan om de nieuwe snelladers te ontwikkelen. Fastned en ABB hebben een primeur met de opening van dit station, de snelladers hebben namelijk voor het eerst een CE certificering ontvangen van een onafhankelijke partij en zijn daardoor goedgekeurd voor consumentengebruik.
Door de veel hogere laadsnelheid kunnen (bedrijfs)auto’s in een kwartier al voor 500 km range bijladen. De aankomende tweede generatie elektrische auto’s hebben grotere batterijen die sneller kunnen laden. Deze auto’s worden nog dit jaar verwacht en Fastned wil daar klaar voor zijn.
Ook het stationsontwerp is naast de laadtechniek volledig nieuw. Een opvallend ontwerp bestaande uit een dak van glas-glas zonnepanelen en gecertificeerd duurzaam hout. Tevens is de overkapping hoger, waardoor de stations beter zichtbaar zijn en genoeg ruimte bieden voor grotere elektrische voertuigen.
De nieuwe snellaadstations is een goede stap richting de toekomst. Mede gezien de ontwikkeling op het gebied van elektrische bedrijfswagens, zoals de aankondiging van o.a. de vernieuwde Nissan e-NV200, Renault Master Z.E. en de Volkswagen e-Crafter.
